And the producer said it's going to be bigger than Circle of Life lol.
It'll be released soon and it's mysteriously kept TBA even though the track-list for the album has already been revealed. Except that ONE Beyoncé song. They must really believe in it.
What's up with my faves doing soundtracks btw

Circle of Life is iconic. I think it's far superior to CYFTLT.

Nope. It's confirmed there's going to be a lead single that's going to be an original song by Beyoncé.

Sorry, I got it. Well, yeah it was so I don't know if the producer just said that to proclaim it's better than whatever was big on the original soundtrack or if he maybe got those two confused as both are pretty well known.

am I the only one who fucking hated The Lion King LOL. I did not like that movie back in the day and I re-watched it not that long ago and still hated it.

The movie is great and simple, most of their 90s movies are classics. Not a fan of these live action remakes going on though. Just shows how lazy Disney has become.

Nah but it’s easily the weakest of the Disney renaissance films. I liked it as a kid, but I rewatched it recently and it didn’t really do much for me. I completely forgot about the “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” scene, and the title is the only lyric I can remember.

Yeah, it's sad how lazy they have become. Because Disney was always at the forefront of quality. Even their "down" periods like the late '70s and '80s gave us decent films like The Rescuers, Pete's Dragon and The Great Mouse Detective.
The renaissance with Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King was incredible.

Theses live films don’t Capture the unique moments the original films had. Aladdin felt rushed and uninspired. How many of theses films are they going to redo? The Little Mermaid 🧜♀️ is the last one?

101 Dalmatians has already been done although it wasn't a direct remake of the original. I'm surprised they haven't thought of doing Snow White. Oliver Twist, Peter Pan and Hunchback of Notre Dame are beloved stories outside the Disney realm. There have already been so many incarnations of Oliver Twist and Peter Pan that I doubt Disney would bother with that.

Remakes literally do nothing wrong towards the original. If anything, they expose the original to a new generation. I would love for some of my favorite movies to be remade so they won't be forgotten. Half of you know stuff from references or remakes anyway, so just relax.
