Though pretty much everyone already suspected.

Oh get real...you have to look for homophobia nowadays. Look at his twitter. Even a ton of black males are congratulating him.

These cunning, calculated revealers are predictable and shameless.

I can’t tell if you’re joking because the twitter comments are a mess.

Wow anything to sell records just sad & heartbreaking.

This is no different than a female singers coming out as bisexual like hasley etc.. He may or may not be gay but it’s a convenient time to come out as gay. I’m over everyone exploiting the gay community.

A black rapper coming out as gay, when homophobia is a huge issue in that community, is definitely different than some white girl saying she’s bi.

Its a convenient time to come out as gay? It’s pride month, idiot. It’s not like homophobia has vanished for good and it’s suddenly hip to be gay. He’s a rapper in his 20s and felt comfortable enough to come out, stop searching for some hidden agenda.

You’re entitled to your opinion but clearly there are many others who agree with me. I’m reading comments and many feel the same way including here & other media places. Good for this cowboy for making a bold announcement but it’s still convenient & suspect no matter how you spin.

I mean I totally get what you're saying but LBR....it's not like he really "came out" in some proud way anyway. Twitter dragged his ass out.

And rightly so because it doesn’t feel genuine at all. Talk about backfire.

Maybe, I just see you guys attacking a rapper who decided to come out during pride month, when the reactions should just be “oh cool”.

I understand completely but i don’t think it makes anyone an idiot as you say because we aren’t reacting in the manner you think we should. I don’t know the guy but i am happy for him if it’s truly genuine & not a plot for sales , attention or anything else outside of simply being free because we all been there before well maybe not Mrjacs not yet.

But even if he does see it as a beneficial time to come I out I mean...isn’t that the point? Isn’t that what we’re working towards? I know being gay is more accepted now, but he should be able to hint at it without being doubted, accused of exploitation, etc.

We’ve all been there so it just feels weird seeing people criticizing how/when/why someone else decides to come out.

But he didn't really come out. It's more like he was like "yeah okay you caught me" after the Barbs exposed him and then he just threw a rainbow emoji at the end. In a way that's kind of fvcked up with that faux "pride" sentiment at the end because he sure doesn't seem proud.

BINGO!!!!!!!!

This is why he’s getting backlash.!!!
