Mariah and Madonna have released career best albums well past their peaks

They may have no chart clout left but they are showing the girls how to achieve longevity.
Caution is slick, with great vocals, amazing songwriting and a dark vibe while Madame X is a bonkers bringing together of world music that's rewoken her artistry.
This is how you do it in the 3rd and 4th decades of your career respectively.
Legends win.

Sales don’t matter at this point. It’s about cementing their legacy and Mariah did great with Caution. Haven’t heard Madame X yet but judging off the singles it’s definitely better than her last two efforts.
