I was there tonight and the atmosphere, as expected, was incredible.
I've never been a particularly big fan or even paid her much attention but I genuinely have so much respect for Ariana and what she did tonight. She's been a huge facilitator in a lot of people's healing. She's going to be remembered in the UK for how she handled this incident. Lots of commentators there and on TV were talking about how it's going to go down as an iconic music moment in Britain. She should be very proud of herself.
If I was a family member of a victim of the bombing I would probably just want Ariana to go away.
Ariana is doing this for her imagine but tbh I don't blame her. Not saying she doesn't care about the victims but her career comes first.
Of course a Gaga stan says this. The lack of self-awareness about your own fave is ridiculous.
Btw the families of the victims actually helped put this together. Ariana visited each victim at their homes/hospital to discuss it, is paying for each funeral, plus raised over $9 million for the families tonight. What a gross thing to say.

Of course you're the first to reply and bring up Gaga. Like Clockwork
I don't care what the families said. I wouldn't care about money, I would be grieving and wouldn't want a pop star to contact me. Though everyone grieves differently I suppose. But yes I did see Ariana's instagram posts with the victims, she made sure of that.

Totally agree, I think the Brits will forever love Ariana now. I've seen a few of my friends say the same thing about her that you did. I think last night was a huge step forward in her career as well.
Anyway, it was absolutely beautiful and I wish I could have been there, if only it didn't sell out in like 20 mins...
I did and the respect I had for Ariana just grew a million times more. What a beautiful person inside and out. My friends in the UK said she's a treasure in the UK now for her selflessness. It takes bravery to go back to the city where you almost got killed, and put on one of the best shows of the year. I just bought One Last Time for the victims, as well as her album.

She's basically a national treasure now lol.
Did not watch it, not really my thing this... BUT. I have great respect for this event going ahead as planned and to those who performed and the people watching. The past two weeks will have a phycological effect on all of us, but life must continue as it was before, with freedom do the things we like, the normal things!

It was beautiful, and yes she did cry but held it back. She's so strong, a queen!

Imogen Heap and Coldplay stole the show. Bieber having trouble deciding what key to sing in DURING his performance was a cringe worthy mess tho.

I have a strong feeling if Beyoncé did this same thing ppl would rip her into pieces and say she's attention seeking.
I have so much respect for Ariana now. Hope she release Thinking bout you as the next single for the families

She was damned no matter what she did. At least by doing this concert she's raised money for the cause.
