YESSS GaGa in fact DOES care about the charts! This generic song proves it. I am rooting for her though, I'm happy she dropped Joanne in the ditch. Is this just a random single so she can score a hit, or is this part of a new album?

CTTR sold less than fucking Million Reasons, idiot. CTTR debuted at #4 with lousy sales and because of her Spoitfy deal. Gaga's The Cure is doing MILES BETTER than CTTR in sales (which never reached #2, let alone #1 on iTunes), so OF COURSE The Cure looks like it'll be a bigger hit. If that happens, you're as over as Katy's career.

Million Diseases has been out HALF A YEAR idiot and CTTR has been out 2 months and is already close to Million Diseases sales and is MUCH higher on the charts so it will overtake it in sales.

Keep praying The Cure will keep up the sales....before the Super Bowl Million Flushes had hit #1 on iTunes as well but only managed to peak at #52 on Billboard until the half time show revived her career from the dead. Hope you don't start cutting yourself when The Cure drops on iTunes.

The Cure is showing VERY positive updates and signs of becoming an actual big hit. It's already #1 longer than Rise, Perfect Illusion, Make Me..., CTTR (sorry, that one was never #1 ) and other songs that just came and went without having any sort of impact.

The Cure is also currently still #1 in over 60 countries and is still green on kworb, so it looks like YOU will be cutting them hands, boo.

At least the Super Bowl revived Gaga's career, but it looks like the Super Bowl killed Katy's. She hasn't scored a hit ever since.

Dunnno, iTunes has not been that big of a factor in charting lately...

Do you even know how charts work? Every song thay goes #1 has dark red updates. Closer, Shape Of You, IDWLF, Hello, etc all had dark red updates and remained #1 for more than a week. Just means the song sold less in one hour than it did the last. The #2 song in both the UK/US need to sell 0.22 more in order to dethrone and all signs are showing that they won't for at least another two days.
