LOTB is #3 on Pop Radio, #5 on Billboard, and just gave her another record. Now is the perfect time to drop a video. I've never seen someone do such little promotion and still do so well. I know she's got her fashion stuff, and movies to film but really sis? Imagine what this era would be if she actually tried.

A music video is a form of promotion for a song.
Since the song is doing so well, I can imagine Rihanna not bothering to want to do a video...

This is her chance to show case her vocals and creativity with this song. This might be her best album but the way she's been treating it this era is truly sad.

Beyonce is someone who doesn't put much effort into promoting singles, not Rihanna. Drunk In Love, for example, was only promoted at the Grammys and then... nothing.
Rihanna's ANTI singles have been promoted with performances on the BRIT awards (Work), the Billboard Music Awards (Love on the Brain) and the MTV Video Music Awards (Love on the Brain, Needed Me). To claim Rihanna was lazy this era is simply untrue.
And I actually like the idea that LOTB doesn't have a video. It adds to its retro sound and makes it even more impressive.

Let's not sis. Beyoncé performed Formation at the super bowl. Released a music video for almost every song from the album and did an unnecessary 10 minute medley at the VMAs for 1 album.

That was album promo. Formation was released for FREE after the Super Bowl and then the video was unlisted until the album was released three months later. If that doesn't scream messy single treatment then I don't know what does.
She never truly promoted the singles off the record. Sorry was released to YouTube two months after being sent to radio and performed in a medley five months after. Not to mention none of the songs were released on Spotify or Apple Music at all.
I'm talking about proper single treatment: Single released on all platforms, video released 1-3 weeks after and then performances on TV in the meantime, while also being sent to radio.
She still scored a Top 10 hit but regardless, she should really go back to caring about the singles too.

Compared to the promo she did for her last albums, Rihanna is basically pulling a Beyonce and just not giving a shit lol. All the performances of LOTB were before she announced it as a single, and she payed Kiss It Better COMPLETE dust. I agree Work had some okay promo though. This era in general has done a lot but not many know because she's just letting it do it's thing.

Which is why it's impressive.
Drake's One Dance had almost no promo, no live performances and NO VIDEO but it stayed #1 for like 12 weeks or so. Rihanna going top 5 is almost equally impressive, so she should just leave it at that.

Has she even bothered to upload it to her official channel?
