I don't follow IMDb on Facebook but did they even post about the boards shutting down there? I don't think they did for when they really pulled the plug which is messed up. At least a thank you for a 17-year run, you know? Awful.
I don't think they did, I did check it out and there were well over 100 comments on their latest unrelated post of people complaining about it. I added mine and a link to this site! I suggest others do the same!
Yeah, I find it interesting how I didn't read ONE message saying it was a good decision. Every new topic IMDB started on their Facebook page would have message after message saying they should rethink the decision. They obviously couldn't wait to get rid of the boards. I hope this site or another one outdoes IMDB because they are abandoning an important part of film/tv and even music culture in this day and age.

If this is how little they care about us then I say good riddance.
The board we always used was on a lifeline anyway so just maybe this site will offer new possibilities.
