and to think having her on the track wouldn't matter. LOL. The thing is, it's not even featuring Ariana Grande, it's basically Ariana and Gaga. Also noticed from Social media, people who are Ariana stans not Gaga fans at all singing to the song, posting snippets from the video.

I mean they’re both popular artists and the song is easily digestible, this doesn’t surprise me.

So sweet that Gaga is trying to look like Ariana in the video. I mean she probably think they are twins. LOL.

They literally just switched hair styles it. Looking like each other was the point.

Didn’t Ariana and Bieber just release a song?
That one flopped hard and this one is taking off. It’s the song, not the artist.

It was a “charity single” that’s went to number one and was never supposed to be a single.
That was a success to me & Rain on me is getting mix reactions.

My bad, I haven’t heard anything about it since it dropped, I figured no one was talking about it because it was boring.

It’s all good! It was just a fast number 1 single then that’s when Doja Cat VS Beyonce mess happened.

Oh wow I missed that. I mean if people don’t care for Gaga that’s ok, but making excuses for why her single is doing well is just so obvious and bitter.
There’s artists that I can’t stand but I don’t get bothered when they find success.

Debuting at no.1 is flopping hard? Please explain.
You think charting is the same thing as trending? In order for a song to chart, people will need to buy it and/or stream it and having it played on radio. Trending on social media does not equal chart position.

Yeah I get that, I just assumed it flopped because it was a nothing song.

You assumed it flopped because you personally didn't like it? man giving me Jacs teas. I don't like the majority of the songs on hot 100 but I am not here to call the flops because I personally don't care for them.

No I meant the fact that no one likes it and no one is talking about it except the controversy of its position being bought.
The point is that they both featured the same artist but one of them is blowing up...because it’s better.
It’s just sad when you’re bothered by another artists popularity, you’re not in the music industry, it doesn’t affect you, there’s no reason to be bitter about it.

I forgot you take charts and sh!t so seriously. I love pop music too but Jesus Christ grow up.

Why are you replying if it ain't of your concern? This thread was chart related. I already made another thread basing my opinion about the actual song.
You claim a song is a flop even though it went to no.1. I mean all you needed to do is to check billboard but instead based in on your assumption rather than actual facts.
What I find strange is that you stan Gaga even though she hasn't released a great album in like a decade (your claim) unless her presence on the charts is what keeps you interested and not the quality of the music.
I don't like Rain on Me but I am not going to call it a flop because it ain't.
The pattern is very Ariana esque. I'm sorry you can't see that.
