Gaga is huge on HAC right now (ever since ASIB smashed), Stupid Love went Top 10 on that format and she is highly respected by the GP aka. they think she's talented and she's obviously super famous.
Ariana is the biggest streaming force out there, she's adored by the younger demo and is much stronger in streaming than Gaga but Gaga is much stronger in pure sales than Ariana. So... it's a perfect combo.
I don't think we've had a collaboration by two females that are THIS famous in quite some time, so this might be a MOMENT.
I know a lot of people are looking at Ari's last collabs (even with Bieber) as comparison because they didn't do that well but fact is they either featured someone who the GP didn't care about anymore (Miley Cyrus or Nicki Minaj) or they featured someone who's in the same ballpark as her therefore not going outside of that specific demo (the Bieber collab).
Rain On Me is a perfect combination. Ari with streaming, Gaga with pure sales. Gaga with the 25+ age demo, Ari with the teens and twenty somethings. Gaga with the HAC and pop format, Ariana with the pop and Top 40 format. I mean... how can this flop? Literally the ONLY thing that could kill this song is if it's bad and disliked by the GP.
The first week will be interesting to watch as both Gaga's and Ariana's recent solo singles both debuted in the Top 5. So COMBINING them... could it debut at #1?

I am sure the song's initial success will be huge considering the hype and the fact it's Ariana. Whether the song will maintain it's popularity after the initial push all depends on the song. I am sure Scooter though it willing to promote the fuck out of it.

I know you're a clown so giving any sort of attention to you is just making you WANT to continue being idiotic but you're so wrong on every account. Gaga doesn't need to rely on Ariana for a first week debut. A solo Gaga song will still catch the attention of the GP despite them not liking SL because she hasn't destroyed their interest yet. And Ariana has proven she can't make every song a hit either. Both of them give this song a huge spike in interest but it'll be the quality (or lack thereof) that will determine if the song becomes a hit or not.
Face it, even without Ariana this song will have a big first week. Just stop.

But is Scooter in charge? The song is released through Interscope (Gaga's label) and Scooter couldn't make Ariana's past features big hits, so it's not like it's that easy.

I said promote it. When the fuck did I say he's in charge. He's Ariana's manager. If she does well, then it will make him look good so of course he will benefit from it. Duh.
Interscope records' parent company is Universal and they are also Republic's parent company which is Ariana's label. Universal also distributes Big Machine's music which is a label owned Scooter Braun. You don't think any of this is connected? Stop making a fool of yourself on this board .. oh wait.

Then WHY didn't her past featurings become hits? Explain that. I'll wait.
I'm not even going to bother with that other statement. Pot calling the kettle black lol.

When did I say Scooter will make sure it will become a hit? I never said that. Are you dyslexic or don't you have reading comprehension skills? I said he will promote it. I am certain he wouldn't mind it becoming a huge hit and I am sure he is willing to do his part of making it a hit but did I say that he will make sure it will become a hit, no I never said that.
Uh, never claimed to be anything. That's something the voices in your head have been telling you.

Debut high because of Ariana brand then fall down the charts like “Stupid Love” and other Gaga singles.
Gaga has “zero” longevity with the charts. This era is a hot mess.

But then why mention Scooter at all unless you were implying he has the power to make it a hit? I asked if it would go to #1 and you replied that you're sure Scooter will do anything in his power to make it a huge hit but why not mention Gaga's manager then? I mean WHY?

It will debut high BECAUSE of Ariana but then fall BECAUSE of Gaga? Then why won't it have longevity BECAUSE of Ariana if it debuts high BECAUSE of her?
And Gaga's last single debuted high BECAUSE of Gaga but you're not taking that into account here?
So you think people will like it because of Ariana in the first week but then hate it because of Gaga in the second week? Please explain your sh!tty logic.

Rules. You're saying the song will debut high because of Ariana despite the fact that Gaga's last SOLO single debuted in the Top 5 but why didn't Don't Call Me Angel, Monopoly and Rule the World debut in the Top 10 when it had Ariana on it?
I want to see you explain that.

Why not? Are the some specific rules of who we can mention and in which context? Please inform me how the rules are here on this board? I haven't read them and I can't find the manual.
Actually you asked if it would become a smash and you listed possible reasons (basically answering your own question) and then asked if it would debut at no.1 (probably to find excuse to argue with people)? I replied the possibility of it doing well and that Scooter will probably be promoting it considering the fact he's shady as hell (which you probably know). My reply > Whether the song will maintain it's popularity after the initial push all depends on the song. I am sure Scooter though it willing to promote the **** out of it.

Gaga debut high with “Stupid Love” simply base off hype from the soundtrack. Seeing her last studio album the first single couldn’t even hit the top 10 shows it. She was on the decline until Bradley saved her unfortunately “Stupid Love” was terrible.
Charlie’s Angels reboot received terrible reactions the second it got the green light. The film was panned & received negative feedback along with the soundtrack. Literally nobody could save it! Ariana can’t save everything!
Gaga has no “movie hype left” and most people online are calling it Ariana song. Most of the interest of this is surrounded with Ariana.
Let’s pray it’s good because Ariana can only do so much!

I'll give you this. I agree.
Charlie's Angels reboot being received terrible has what to do with the song exactly? Ariana is Ariana. If her brand was as strong as you say she'd have no problem going Top 10 in its first week.
No, it's not you loon. It's a Gaga song and everyone knows it except for a few idiots.
Please explain why Monopoly, Rule The World, Dance to This and Bed didn't go Top 10. They all had Ariana. Please explain.
PS. It WILL be quite interesting if out of Ariana's 13721783 collabs, only the one with Gaga smashes "because of Ariana's brand" lol. Pray to God it won't because this will blow up in your face

I am going to stop responding to you if you continue to insult everyone including me.
If you want to have this discussion let’s do it. I would expect someone in their 50s to have maturity.

The only reason you won't respond is because you don't have any arguments and you were wrong
Btw, that comment about SL only debuting because of hype from her previous album.... like DUH. That's always the case. If your previous album was a flop and not well-received you will not have hype for your next project (look at Katy). So basically SL debuted high because people loved Gaga again is what you're trying to say.
