What an obscenely overrated turd this show was! Boring as shit, and never went anywhere. All these big plans and promises with a bunch of characters, only for the whole thing to be volleyed off a cliff.
Ordinarily I don't get off on others misfortune, but watching everyone throw tantrums over how much they don't like this season has made me laugh my ass off again and again! I was hoping they'd fuck each episode up worse each week so people's heads would explode even more!
I liked everything that happened, but the episode felt rushed. I liked the final season overall, and the entire series is still amazing, hopefully the book will deliver a more satisfying ending.

Do you think it’a possible that the writer will come up with a completely different ending?
Ok as someone who didn't watch the show but read ever damn spoiler...a question for the fans...I thought the viewers were waiting all season long for this Queen Cersei bitch to get her comeuppance but it shifted really quick to Dany losing her shit ..what gives ?

I have never watched an Episode and I'm not remotely interested. I have been on set of Game of thrones once but that didn't make me interested either LOL. Everybody around me loves it but I honestly don't care. One person described it as Bold and The Beautiful in medieval times. I have seen both Kit Harrington and Emilia Clarke in other things and their acting didn't impress me so that has also been a factor. I like Peter Dinklage though.
I know one should not judge something they haven't seen but I made a few attempts of watching The Walking Dead (another show people raved about) and I thought it was terrible LOL.

How far did you get in the Walking dead before you decided it was terrible?
If you've "never watched an episode" then why do you give a ****?
Why does it bother you whether I have watched it or not? Did I diss someone for watching the show? no.
There's being bothered, and then there's reacting to obnoxious behaviour.
What he's implying is it's not a big deal. There's being invested in a show, and there's this wack job madness of the GOT fans, spending a gazillion hours on youtube ranting about their dislike for this season, petitioning HBO to reshoot the season, begging the author to rush finish his books so they can crawl out from their safe spaces, etc.
It's just a TV show! And I don't give a fuck what anyone says, this show has ALWAYS been way overrated. It's always been very slow, drab, flat, and rather dull. It's mostly long pauses between seemingly profound diatribes and speeches, with some fight scenes and fire breathing dragons in between. I think so many other shows, from Sopranos to Rome to Carnivale to Breaking Bad were better than this show.

You clearly haven’t seen the show past the first episode to say something so outrageous and wrong.

It sucked. Mostly because there was no character progression, and they put zero ground work in to earn any of those character moments.
Dany’s speech, and Drogon were the best things about this. Who knew I could feel sorry for Jon Snow LOL.

disappointing, it really didn't live up to promises which is a shame given the work the cast and crew have put in only to be let down by the writers.

They should’ve had season 8 focus on the war between the living and the dead, and season 9 focus on the war in King’s Landing end!

God, if there is one thing that's more insufferable than that finale, it's these angsty try hards.
