She briefly plays a nurse. This soap star and Star Trek TOS guest star is just made for a camera. Beautiful face and then some and her hairstyle in the film actually accentuates her beauty. But with very comely Julie Haggerty as Elaine very much in evidence plus a couple of other very attractive ladies I am less than positive why Miss. Sorel is in this.

A paycheck? This was a couple of years before she became known for playing Augusta Lockridge (1984-1991) on Santa Barbara & then Vivian Alamain (1992-2023) on Days of Our Lives.

It did not dawn you at all I was asking why they accepted her into this. It could be a reunion between her and Shat but he was not known for bringing actors along with him into other projects. Unless he was crazy about her on TOS! Her beauty supports that possibility.

🙄 There was a 13-year gap between her appearance on ST & then Airplane! Why would it 'dawn on' anyone?
