Every time i see Michael Lonsdale on screen in an older movie i always think.. "Hey, Brian Cox" Those two are like separated at birth.

Dunno why, but there's some excellent British actor, who I remember from UK tv productions of the '70s and maybe also '80s, I'm pretty sure first name of Brian, who I always immediately think is being referred to when I see/hear the name Brian Cox. The other actor, btw, starred, if I'm not mistaken, as Henry VIII in a '70s miniseries.
@wonder, any idea who I'm meaning?

Brian Blessed?
He appeared in the 1970s BBC television series, "I, Claudius (1976)" as Caesar Augustus, and "Henry VIII and His Six Wives (1972)" as Duke of Suffolk, brother-in-law to King Henry VIII, who was played by Keith Michell.

That's the guy! Thanks so much, wonder!
I don't know why the name Brian Cox always immediately compels me to think it's actor Brian Blessed who's being referred to. 🤔

Brian Cox has sometimes been referred to as the Scottish version of Brian Blessed, but I don't really see it. Both are great classically trained actors, who I admire, and Blessed is the one who I remember the best from scenes like in:
. "I Claudius (1976) - videoclip
. "The Black Adder (1983) - videoclip
. "Henry V (1989) - videoclip

I see BB's still living (age 87), though it's been so long since I last saw (or at least recognized) him in anything that I kinda assumed he must have passed on.
Thanks for the great info and clips, wonder!
