Discuss Michael Wood

In his 'In Search of the Trojan War' book he defended Homer the epic poet for not making the Iliad technically accurate to the real life Mycenean age by claiming Homer was writing ( or composing) a story not a history book. Excellent point.

But!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a later documentary Mr. Wood is using I think the Hindu book 'The Rig-Veda' and he was using it like a history book for like where the Info-Europeans of India came from and so on. But the composers of the RV were creating pagan text not necessarily a historical account of things and some of what the RV said happened could have been for story purposes like the Iliad.

PS Only the Bible is totally accurate in every way in history and science and spiritual knowledge just see my other postings.

What right do you have disparaging another religion's sacred books?

Only the Bible has the amazing scientific accuracy. Read my postings like on Biblical movies and learn more!

Well, there are different versions. of course Right down to kid's versions. Since the Apostles used the Septuagint for Christ's genealogy it is to be that there were two Cainans in the genealogy line!
