The media's reporting the charismatic, versatile rap icon, born Marcel Theo Hall, as having died at age 57. Bizmark was best known to the mainstream as the rapper of the hit song "Just a Friend." But he has other singles to his credit, such as "It's Spring Again" or the arguable hip-hop classic, "Vapors." I personally got a kick out of his cover of Elton John's "Bennie and the Jets."

No cause of death was given.
