Discuss Rudolph Valentino

Back in 1925 we used inches & feet in England re Valentino's Saville Row tailors measurements. So those would have been accurate if they were the honest measurements. We didn't go metric until decimalisation in 1972 & even now most people use both inches & metric.

Hi, Lara. You didn't mention what Valentino's measured and recorded height was.

No the Saville Row tailors measurements were height 5'11 & there is an officially registered government card for employment when he entered the U.S. Card dated 1913 or 1914 (I have a photo of it) on it, it says height is 5'11 & 1/2".

It's a New York City State Operators licence dated 1917. An official tax document. He has his place of residence as the Ritz Carlton Hotel also.
