With so many American classics etched into your coffee table leg, you remain one of my favorite writer-directors. To this day, I am transfixed by the legend of how you would've been, if I understand correctly, a Catholic priest, if not a filmmaker. Also, I think I might have shared some of the issues you confront in your films.
