With so many American classics etched into your coffee table leg, you remain one of my favorite writer-directors. To this day, I am transfixed by the legend of how you would've been, if I understand correctly, a Catholic priest, if not a filmmaker. Also, I think I might have shared some of the issues you confront in your films.
When I grow up, I want to be much like you; thanks for all that you do and have done. I enjoyed your newest theatrical release.
