The Red Skelton Show is an American variety show that was a television staple for two decades, from 1951 to 1971. It was second to Gunsmoke and third to The Ed Sullivan Show in the ratings during that time. Skelton, who had previously been a radio star, had appeared in several motion pictures as well. Although his television series is largely associated with CBS, where it appeared for more than fifteen years, it actually began and ended on NBC. During its run, the program received three Emmy Awards, for Skelton as best comedian and the program as best comedy show during its initial season, and an award for comedy writing in 1961.

Cully, causa attacchi di cuore, non può continuare ad occuparsi di Lassie, che viene presa in custodia da Corey e poi da altre due guardie. Dopo aver passato un sacco di tempo senza padrone, Lassie si stabilisce all'Holden Ranch, una fattoria sede di un centro per bambini in difficoltà. La caratteristica principale di Lassie è la sua intelligenza, difatti la cagna aiuterà e salverà tutti i suoi amici animali e tutte le persone che si troveranno in difficoltà, cercherà in qualsiasi modo di soccorrerle ed è proprio da quest'ultime che ne ricaverà affetto e riconoscenza.

CSI: New York è il secondo spin-off, ambientato a New York, della fortunata serie televisiva americana CSI: Scena del crimine. I due uomini e mezzo quindi danno vita a storie comiche nelle quali spesso entra prepotentemente anche la madre dei fratelli, Evelyn, una ricca agente immobiliare ma con la quale i due, sia Charlie che Alan, hanno un rapporto conflittuale.
