I haven't touched the genre, but I'm tempted to, because this is not a horror film. Yes, it's about someone who's done a horrific crime, but the film itself is not horror - it doesn't have the characteristics of a horror genre film. There are no horrors on screen, no monsters or sequences where someone's in danger, not even a jumpscare. It's a film about someone interested in a person who's committed a crime.

Appropriate genres for this film, in my opinion, would be - crime, maybe mystery too. If a third genre is needed, I would go with drama. Perhaps (a slow) thriller, if really needed (I don't think this is a thriller either). But horror - definitely no.

I will not edit the genre, because an edit war would not be constructive - it's best if mods could make a decision and lock the genre as appropriate.

Your explanation helps a lot, Mary. Also, a lot of sources I found refer to this film as a psychological thriller, not horror. I've removed horror and locked it.
