Russian crochet designer Igor Andreev upcycles unwanted garments, curtains and tablecloths to create fairytale dresses and contemporary face masks. As a schoolboy Igor was banned from joining his local crochet club by those who deemed that “knitting was for women”. Now his fashion brand, Vereja — named after the village where he was born — is becoming world-famous.
