Yeah, basically you could summarize the experience by saying it is a "Zack Snyder movie", which means that it's generally looks nice, but is just empty, hollow and soulless inside. I assume this cost millions like his movies generally do and at this point I'm kind of surprised he finds people willing to back his movies in such capacity. I mean it's definitely not the worst movie of the year just a rather mediocre movie that seems like it wants to be the "Star wars" of this generation.

I will give it another shot once they release the rated R version because that Disney channel "Action" fight scene at the beginning were not it. GIVE US GORE!!!!!!!

Yeah I had company over this weekend who wanted to see this, so I was basically forced against my will into watching it. "Slog" is the correct word for the experience. Writing is bland, story is derivative and boring, could not care less about any of the characters, the "action" scenes are just laughable - it all just felt like Snyder trying to prove what an auteur he is. I heard somewhere the script for this was rejected by Disney for a Star Wars film. If even Disney is rejecting it, you know it's gotta be bad.

There isn't an original idea in this entire slog. The action sucks and the characters are bland and uninteresting. It's not even nice to look at like The Creator, it's pure junk.

The Creator wasn't that nice to look at but Rebel Moon had goodlooking characters but nothing else. And the slow motion scenes destroyed movie. The fight scenes were shit.
