Actually, not so fast...

"Multiple theatre outlets and moviegoers have reported the film's over-inflation of tickets actually being used due to a promotional marketing scheme by Angel Studios. A message at the end of the film and a prominent link on the studio's website urged viewers to buy an extra ticket "for someone who would not otherwise be able to see the film", suggesting many of the extra tickets were left unused, resulting in almost empty sold out shows and unoccupied seats."

So, it would appear those ticket sales are not genuine butts in seats, but a hustle/con to create an image that is not based in reality. I wanted to give credit where credit is due, but it would appear credit is not due here after all.

Meanwhile, boycott after boycott, Barbie is still packing real butts into seats, reflecting real, true, response from a real, large, market.

It’s literally just a dude who backed the crowdfunding. Wtf does that have to do with anything with the movie? Its ironic that he would donate to film about child kidnapping and than kidnap a child. Oh I agree. I like how the male feminists end up with rape charges or how the anti gay people get caught being gay! Makes me laugh.
