Film inspired by a true story that happened to the director, who shot it while he was under house arrest. Stefano Calvagna, after being the subject of an attempted murder on 17 February 2009 outside a theater in San Saba in Rome, was arrested by the police and taken to the Regina Coeli prison with various charges against him, including that of having organized the fake, attempted crime. A personal journey that pushes Calvagna to try to understand the reasons why he found himself in that uncomfortable situation.

La notte del 17 febbraio 2009 il regista Stefano Calvagna viene raggiunto da sette colpi di pistola all'uscita del teatro San Saba a Roma. Dopo aver subito il tentato omicidio, viene arrestato dalla polizia e portato nel carcere di Regina Coeli, con varie accuse, tra le quali quella di aver organizzato da sé l'attentato. Uscito dal carcere due anni dopo, il regista racconta la sua vicenda e il suo punto di vista.
