So, apparently, the novel The Long Walk was banned in Clay County, FL. (on their "Library Media" page, go down to Library Media Links section, and the first link is the "District Reconsideration List". Click on that, and on the 2023-24 sheet, you'll see The Long Walk status as "Remove from All Libraries".
It's yet more projection that conservatives call liberals "snowflakes", yet it's conservatives fear-mongering over literature, suppressing freedoms, insulating themselves from scary others...

Holy fascist dystopia, you’re right! And not only did they ban The Long Walk, but I found a longer list of almost 500 books they banned with half a dozen more Stephen King titles including Running Man, It, The Tommyknockers, Carrie, and The Shining?!?. They also banned Kurt Vonnegut, Dean Koontz, Anne Rice??
Where are all the First Amendment "patriots" now? Apparently the loudest whiners about snowflakery, cancel culture, and violation of free speech are the ones actually doing it 😑
