A general pointer regarding Family is that it should be a movie that all children can watch. This movie is rated from 7 in most countries and even from 12-13 years in some countries! That means it's not a fit. As for science fiction, we recently had a mod decision to not include it. I haven't watched it, but I'll leave it open should another mod feel that that science fiction is a genre that needs to be included. Thanks.

Regarding "Family" - I've always seen it as something that has to do with family in its plot. Well, I was wrong clearly - thanks! But there are movies having Family genre with that inconsistency. Will do my best to fix those in my future edits.
Also - feel free to ignore - but would love to know why the consensus was to not call this a Science Fiction. Tbh, it's among the best sci-fi movies I've seen; is very much a part of the theme, and I came to the page because it was missing from my sci-fi stats.
