Two children find themselves trapped in their school, the day before Christmas Eve. Their vigilance and resourcefulness are no match for the locked doors, barred windows and the snowstorm that, by causing a power outage, deprives them of light and heat. Worried, frozen, hungry, they confront each other, support each other, console each other in order to overcome their fear. More than courage, it is the discovery of solidarity that will allow them to emerge stronger from this journey to the end of the night.

Twee kinderen zitten opgesloten in hun school, de dag voor kerstavond. Hun waakzaamheid en vindingrijkheid zijn niet opgewassen tegen de gesloten deuren, getraliede ramen en de sneeuwstorm die hen, door een stroomstoring te veroorzaken, van licht en warmte berooft. Bezorgd, bevroren, hongerig confronteren ze elkaar, steunen elkaar, troosten elkaar om hun angst te overwinnen. Meer dan moed, is het de ontdekking van solidariteit die hen in staat zal stellen sterker uit deze reis naar het einde van de nacht te komen.

Deux enfants se retrouvent prisonniers de leur école, l'avant-veille de Noël. Leur vigilance et leur débrouillardise ne peuvent rien contre les portes verrouillées, les fenêtres grillagées et la tempête de neige qui, en provocant une panne d'électricité, les prive de lumière et de chauffage. Inquiets, transis, affamés, ils s'affrontent, s'épaulent, se consolent afin de vaincre leur peur. Plus que le courage, c'est la découverte de la solidarité qui leur permettra de sortir grandis de ce voyage au bout de la nuit.
