I agree the first one was pretty terrible. This was fairly better though it didn't have the character development of the Conjuring movies. Thought it was better than Sinister though and probably on the same level as Insidious.
I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/hSa7oMkArlA

It isn't as good as the Conjuring movies. IMO Sinister is a bit better, a better constructer story. I did find it definitely better than Annabelle and much scarier than the Insidious movies, none of which I find all that scary.
the thing about Annabelle 1 was that it needed to be experienced in the theater for a better experience. I understand how a redbox rental didnt amuse some of yall.
The first Annabelle is crap, and I actually saw Creation before it, which I'm glad about as I would've seen Creation with super low expectations had I seen Annabelle first, thankfully with Creation being a prequel it was fine to watch it like this.
It had okay characters and the special effects were great, my biggest issue was the trailer I saw for it in cinemas earlier, gave almost everything away, I almost didn't want to watch it after the trailer, I did because my friends were seeing it, went with them and enjoyed it, but still, there were only two big moments in the story that wasn't shown in the trailer, which is quite ridiculous.
I haven't seen Sinister or Insidious (but I'll make sure to do so), but right now I think: The Conjuring > The Conjuring 2 > Annabelle: Creation >>> Annabelle
I love The Conjuring and its sequel, and would be very happy to see a third.
I hated how (spoiler warning) the end of Creation did its best to tie in with the first Annabelle movie though, sort of hurts Creation. Also, while I'm on the topic of spoilers, why the hell did they show the scene of the girl walking in the trailer? Way too much, next time I'm in theaters and there's a trailer for The Nun, The Conjuring 3 or whatever, I'm covering my ears and closing my eyes so I can enjoy them as much as I did the two Conjuring movies.

The Insidious movies are entertaining enough. It's just that they aren't really scary.
They really should make a third Conjuring, with the Annabelle story (the real story), that's shown shortly in the first Conjuring movie. Hell, they actually could keep it going for a while.
I think it's scarier than all of those films. There are some really creepy moments. The Conjuring films are the better overall films just less scary than this one. I'd put this film slightly above the first Sinister and Insidious. It's much better than all of the sequels.

It was really good but not as scary as Insidious 2 or The Conjuring. Definitely an improvement from the first Annabelle movie.

How does Conjuring 2 fit in your list? I thought it was better than the first one.

i think the conjuring is over hyped and over rated i mean the only thing i remember is the raising chair with a ghost in the attic.
insidious had that demon and the old lady witch which were creepy as fuck and annabelle 1 had many tension scenes that would build up
