Okay, I kept wondering why she took them off before going to the party. I figured she had an affair with one of the people at the party and wanted to make sure being ready for a quick one, haha... in retrospect I guess it's unlikely that it would make much of a difference.
But so what, she had some kind of dirty talk fling with some guy on facebook? What difference would it make to not have panties if he'd never know anyway?

It makes difference for her, that's all. Not wearing panties is probably a new experience for her, an adventure. And having a dirty secret in front of her husband and unsuspicious friends - probably, she feels impudent. Sure, she could lie to this guy, but then there would be no point in talking to him at all.
