Item: Abril Despedaçado
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: "Behind the Sun" (Abril Despedaçado) is a Brazilian film. It is directed by a Brazilian filmmaker (Walter Salles), filmed in Brazil, with a Brazilian cast, spoken in Brazilian Portuguese and was the Brazilian representative for the Academy Awards nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. But for some reason, the only countries listed in the film's profile here are France and Switzerland, which were the countries that co-produced the film. Please, would it be possible to correct this error?

But Brazil also co-produced this film together with the other two countries mentioned through VideoFilmes, the production company of director Walter Salles.

I apologize for my delay in responding. Here are some screenshots from the film with the credits of the Brazilian production company VideoFilmes appearing as one of the four production companies of the film along with Haut et Court, Bac Films and Dan Valley Ag.

The on-screen credits (in Portuguese language) on my version are different.
VideoFilmes doesn't appear on the coproduction page.
It only appear near the start as a "present" credit and is listed as the only company in the copyright. With this, I consider that VideoFilmes is more a distribution company that a production company.
In doubt, I have asked another moderator to have a look here.

Hi, I believe we have to add Video Filmes as a production company. The "presents" credit is very tricky and can mean different things depending on the context. In this case a good clue is the fact that it was considered a Brazil production at the Oscars and they are very strict about such details (meaning it was at least a Brazil co-production, if not the main production company per those rules).

Additional evidence: if Mauricio Andrade Ramos is credited as executive producer (just checking IMDb now), he was the main guy at Videofilmes when the movie was made.
