I really liked this. A fine period piece set a long time ago, it paints an interesting picture of the concept of predator honour.

Not sure of the historicity of dialog between Christians and Muslims at this point in time; and sure, with more budget, the script might have been better. But then, I've seen more than my fair share of big budget crap, so money is no guarantee of a good script either.

And, I also wonder how people back then might have wrapped their heads around the technology they were seeing.

All that said, this was much more enjoyable and true to the franchise than the atrocious AvP:R, which remains among the worst movies in the history of motion pictures.
