Na de plotselinge dood van zijn moeder keert Adam terug naar het dorp; hier vindt hij het huis waar hij een kind was en ontmoet hij zijn jeugdvriend Adelmo, die hem een baan aanbiedt. Dus Adam vult zijn dagen met het besturen van een vrachtwagen die rot fruit tot pulp brengt. Op een ochtend stopt hij om een intiem stel in de velden te bespioneren. Plots verandert wat een liefdesontmoeting leek in een overval die Adam weet te verijdelen.

In seguito all'improvvisa morte della madre, Adamo ritorna al paesello; qui ritrova la casa in cui è stato bambino e incontra l'amico d'infanzia Adelmo, che gli offre un lavoro. Così Adamo riempie i suoi giorni guidando un camion che porta al macero frutta marcia. Una mattina si ferma a spiare una coppia in intimità nei campi. Improvvisamente, quello che sembrava un convegno amoroso si trasforma in una rapina che Adamo riesce a sventare.

Адамо возвращается в родной город на похороны матери. Там он встречает старого друга который предлагает работу. Позже Адамо знакомится с местной проституткой. Знакомство быстро переходит в странные отношения.
