A 1980s GLC public information film about home fire safety. We see an elderly couple going off to bed, turning off the lights, and closing the door without checking the fireplace. The hot coals from the fireplace fall out onto the carpet. Then, a fuse appears on the carpet and it ignites itself as the coals smoulder onto the carpet.
