Discuss Buffy the Vampire Slayer

This movie seems cheesy compared to the gloomier successful TV series with the same title "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", but it's where it all began.

With Kristy Swanson as Buffy Summers and Donald Sutherland as The Watcher , you are taken on a wild fun visit to a typical school with its popular cheerleaders and jocks, and brainy nerds, laughing and screaming, amid the threat of bloodsucking vampires.

Watching this then in a dark movie theater would have greatly enhanced the fear factor. Enjoy your pop corn. popcorn grin scream

Pretty forgettable, I thought, - unlike the TV series, which was , and still is, totally unforgettable.

My beef with the movie is not much happens and it calls apart near the end. Even after Joss left it should've been put through a rewrite to make more sense of the source material

I've always loved this movie. It's just lots of fun and really entertaining. I'm also a fan of the TV show.

It was great if they had followed the origin comic added in her parents fighting, missing the heart and Angel seeing Buffy become
