Agustín is all alone in his house during a storm. When he goes out to the backyard, something attacks him.

In a neighborhood in Santa Fe, during a day of incessant rain during the 2003 flood, a man falls into a well that suddenly forms in the courtyard of his house and, after this, his family wanders between struggle and resignation to rescue him.

December 31, 2008

Marcelo decides to abandon his life as a city publicist, sells his properties, and builds a ranch on the island. He sails to Don Armando's store for supplies. Victoria works there, with whom he has a romantic relationship and ends up living with him. One night, two men try to rob them; Victoria is shot and killed, and he kills her attackers. The ranch burns down. Marcelo abandons his lost paradise by rowing downriver.

Three stories inspired by stories by Juan José Saer. A police officer returns to his hometown to investigate a murder; a teacher complains about a horse that has been abandoned. One day, a man is found dead, and there is no trace of the horse, which is the only witness to the murder.
