Hey endtheme,
Do you want to bring that post over here? I'm going to look at doing some kind of "starred" or "pinned" posts and this would be one of them.

Sure.
Do you want me to just repost that collections thread in the General talk area?

Ya, that makes sense to me.

OK, but what about the Marvel One-Shots like "Item 47", "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer" and "The Consultant"? Do they get their own collection? Like a Marvel One-Shots Collection?

Yes. I would go with Marvel One-Shots Collection.

Can/will you do this please? Because honestly I have no idea how.

Done.
There is a knowledge base article on creating collections here.
I am not sure if these short films fall within the scope of a collection, as I do not know anything about them. If the lists feature ever gets created, it might be something more suited for that.

Reviving an old thread. Two things:
1.-Both links to the guidelines are broken. It would be a good thing to refresh them with a working one. 2.-While I agree the other movies have nothing to do with an "Avengers" collection, I don't see why they shouldn't be grouped into a "Marvel Superheroes" collection or, more specifically, a "Marvel Phase One" collection. Especially since they're planned to be done sequentially.
A similar thing happens with the Blood and Ice collection. They're unrelated in theme, title and characters, and the only link between them is the intention when they were made to be a collection.
Not to beat more any already-dead horses. If I can be pointed to the collections guidelines and if they already explain why a collection couldn't be done this way, I'll consider myself answered.

It's not as informative as the dead link, sorry.
