This collection should be spit into two seperate series

I'm familiar with the entertaining Fox series starring Lloyd Nolan made between '40-42. It appears there was also a poverty row series produced in 1946 starring Hugh Beaumont (of all people.) As I don't see a way to edit the entries directly, I humbly suggest identifying the different series by the actor portraying the role: Lloyd Nolan being the star of the first seven features. If the collection is split I will be happy to return later to add posters and background pics. Will note the Hugh Beaumont title links in the event they need to be found later:

Why do you believe the films starring Hugh Beaumont are not sequels to the earlier films?

Given the fairly straightforward division between the two series, I was hoping that a distinction could be made as has been done with the varied other detectives: Charlie Chan (Warner Oland/Sidney Toler/Roland Winters), Inspector Clouseau (Peter Sellers/Steve Martin), Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone/Ian Richardson/Jeremy Brett/Robert Downey, Jr), Hercule Poirot (Peter Ustinov/Kenneth Branagh), etc. The rights to the character were licensed by PRC which produced six budget films starring Hugh Beaumont from '46-'47, prior to shuttering (they also produced three Philo Vance films around the same time.) I wouldn't consider it a continuation in the same sense as James Bond or similar serials.
