Junior, un petit garçon, trouve un jour une branche de bois en se promenant, et la garde pour en faire son ami imaginaire, Twigson. Le jour où sa mère est blessée à la suite d'un accident de vélo, Junior et son nouvel ami partent chercher le coupable.

Twigson, l'ami de bois imaginaire de Junior, partage désormais sa vie avec Karoline, une branche de bouleau avec laquelle il a eu un fils. Tout semble aller pour le mieux jusqu'au jour où Twigson disparait mystérieusement. Junior se lance alors à sa recherche.

It is rumored that a sea worm has been observed in the fjord, and it will not be long before the energetic sea worm expert Blegen shows up, with his strange devices and instruments. It will be an exciting summer holiday with friendship put to the test, exploration in nature and the hunt for the mysterious sea worm.
