Extra Details: Movies must be true sequels in order to qualify for a collection on TMDb, meaning a story running from the first film all through the last. That is not the case here. Movies may be part of a trilogy without being proper sequels per our rules. https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/collection
The exception is only for numbered sequels, so Tales from the Crypt collection does not qualify.

Tales from the Crypt is by definition an anthology premise. the comics, anthology tv show, anthology movies too.
The 3 movies in the current collection have no running thread. thats fine.
"tales from the crypt" (1972) https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/38939-tales-from-the-crypt "vault of horror" (1973) https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/53868-the-vault-of-horror - Description of this movie says "sequel to tales from the crypt" literally the first sentence plus the 2 movies above share the same story and screenwriter. those 2 are true sequals.
the 3 movies IN the collection... share nothing, no characters, no writers, they all have demon/vampires ?!?
all 5 movies DO have the cryptkeeper as a narrator/ jumpoff.
none of the 5 stories are features from the TV show. none of the 5 movies are collections of content from other sources. not a "best of" collection, not a volume collection.
