To demonstrate to the Nazis the contempt toward Italian traitors, the two friends procure to the German officials young Roman girls inducing them to prostitution. Waiting to move into the newly formed and safe Republic of Salo, for Alfredo Vitale everything seems to be going the right way but unexpected implications of destiny overwhelm his and that of his son Lorenzo’s life.

Meanwhile in Rome also Alfredo Vitale, father of Captain Lorenzo and convinced fascist hierarch, undergoes the new political order and for not to lose the esteem of his Nazi officer friends decides to make a plan using Riccardo Vollaro’s complicity, Lieutenant Colonel of the Royal Army who remained loyal to the Duce.
