Blah blah blah. It’s a show. Get over it.

That's ironic. The person who can't let this go telling someone else to get over it.

Well, and others who keep re-opening the discussion to tell the mod that they are wrong. But you do you “Jedi”.

The series was relaunched in series format and renewed for a second season to be released on September 6 https://www.disneyplus.com/series/i-am-groot/3FfVmffm1ijj

Even though the episodes are in movie format here, as originally released, from now on it will be necessary to keep the page in series format, because of the relaunch and renewal with new episodes in a second season. https://www.marvel.com/articles/tv-shows/i-am-groot-season-2-trailer

As this is now a series on disney+ could anyone fix the listing issue? didn't know, how to transform the movies into episodes and the film series into a series.

thanks

There are nothing to fix. We list the elements as they were originally released.

@superboy97 : Things can change and Disney changed the type from movies to series. so this change should be respected here too

No. As per our rules, all our listings are based on the original release, even if they change later.

New episodes will ORIGINALLY be released as a series, as of the change, so in any case the entry as a series should be kept here, based on the same rules.

Only the new episodes will be eligible to be listed as part of a series (if they are effectively released as a series), not the 5 current ones.

Hi,

As everyone, please make this a SERIES. I'm french, and in here not even a single person thinks it is a collection of movies, this doesn't make any sens. They share the same Title (like a TV Show), and if we're honest, everyone would classify it as a series.

So why can't this be change ? I thought that was the strength of TMBD, to be able to be deliberate and discuss to make this database, a database sperformantes. As with all rules, there can be execptions, such as when the distributor himself corrects things. Why TMDB does not correct things ?

Reading this topic, it seems that TMDB is owned by one person, and that it is run in ditacture even if several people come to discuss in an honest way about common sense. It's such a shame, I wouldn't like to have to change my sources on TheTVDB like some of the users, I really like TMDB, but this kind of behavior is really disappointing.

Sorry for my language, I used deepl to translate my message. I had things on my mind and wanted to report it from France. Thank you for taking your users into account, it would be really appreciated. TheTVDB and Wikipedia know how to do it, and display the information correctly.

And @superboy97 don't bother replying to me, I'm looking for a human being open to discussion, as on other community sites where I've had the honor of being replied to and who can understand the request made multiple times by multiple users (although many don't bother to ask at all), not someone who remains stuck on a rule, even though the broadcaster himself has come to correct things.

Given the discussion, I think I'm throwing a stone in the water too. But at least I'll go to bed more serene, if everyone could come and say it, maybe the tyranny of the rules would stop and users would be heard. Because the conclusion is clear: we won't have the right to have the information in our software like Plex if we stay on TMDB... As with other series, this isn't the first time.

PS : on Disney website, the page for watching the video is a TV SHOW page, not a movie one, and there is a dropdone to select the season and a list of "episodes" which can be played. The page given here as "movie" doesn't exist when I click on it, I'm redirected to Home page.

Democracy: modify and adapt rules as needed (fundamental principle). Dictatorship: everyone shuts up and nothing changes.
