From Kempten in the Allgau with the Ausserfernbahn along Reutte to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Tirol and then with the Karwendelbahn to Innsbruck. It goes from the foot to the middle of the Alps, with the added bonus of a train ride to the highest peak in Germany, the Zugspitze.

A 'Bergbahn' in the hills of southern Germany, that is how the Black Forest describes the railway line. Even though the peaks are not that high, the journey from Offenburg to Konstanz on Lake Constance is particularly surprising due to the great variation of the landscape through which the train winds through.
