On the first day the physical demands are high for the new recruits as they are pushed to their limits by mandatory fitness assessments. They are also taught how to correctly strip down a rifle and how to use a gas mask.

The rookies of 19 Platoon continue their Phase 1 training travelling to Catterick, North Yorkshire to spend 3 days and 2 nights out on field exercises that will test their stamina and endurance. There is excitement ahead of Families Day.

The members of 19 Platoon enter the final, month-long phase of their training. They head to Otterburn in Northumberland to put to the test everything they have learned. Who will make it to the passing-out parade?
