Fascinated by his success, Shane Dawson investigates the mysterious life of Jeffree Star. Shane arrives at his home in Calabasas and explores the mansion, showing the luxurious life Jeffree has obtained from his career.

Shane and Jeffree go to the Jeffree Star Cosmetics warehouse and learn about the inner workings of Jeffree Star Cosmetics. They also talk about more little secrets that nobody knows about. Jeffree also talks about the amount of money it cost to run his business. Shane tries to figure out how Jeffree has all of his money.

The episode follows the first test shades being reviewed by Dawson and Star and them deciding upon making a second smaller palette as well, along with a pig shaped mirror, while also following the immediate happenings after $1 million worth of product was stolen from Jeffree Star Cosmetics. The episode also shows Dawson navigating his way through a controversy he faced where he was accused of sexual behavior towards his cat, which ends with Dawson moving on from the controversy depressing him, and him proposing to Adams in front of his whole family. This episode was dedicated to Diamond and Daddy Star, two of Star's pet Pomeranians who died in the last four months.

Dawson and Star show their reaction's to Westbrook's and Charles' controversy alongside videos showing viewers requesting that Dawson show the aforementioned clips. The Conspiracy Collection goes live and almost immediately, most online retailers crash. Dawson, Star, and Star's team have a call with Shopify to get their website back up—Dawson and Star scathingly criticize Shopify during the call. The call gets cut short due to a Morphe store launch at the Mall of America. At the end of the episode, it is revealed that the Mini Controversy palette will change in the March and May 2020 restocks with a new shade being introduced.
