The adventurer Dale Reki is undertaking fairly typical mission when he finds a young devil girl, with a broken horn. Not willing to abandon her in the wilderness, he takes her back to the town he works out of, to see if he can help her find her way.

Latina's made all kinds of friends since starting her life in Kreuz, but cats have managed to evade her so far. That changes when she and Dale are introduced to a trader from the east with a house full of furry friends.

Rita's baby is due soon, Latina's tenure at school is ending, and changes is in the air. What ill the future hold for the young devil girl and her guardian?
