No I haven't seen it but in fairness I will post this glowing review. Since I previously linked a bad review here then is a good one. Hopefully this will offer a chance to discuss the new show with positivity. If you are anti-Picard, no need to repeat your arguments as they are well known already. This is meant to be a pro Picard thread

Did anyone notice how much Kurtzman ripped off other shows and movies when he created STD and STP.

I mostly noticed how much Kurtzman ripped off the story and structure from Logan and Serenity (with a dash of Blade Runner/re BSG) and copied it in Picard

Sure there are those that like the show but to trust the established media in manners of objectively reviewing a T V show that is another matter. If Stewart wants his own dystopian Loganesk SF show fine by me but he should have called it something other than Star Trek heck call it Sun Travels but anything other than Star Trek because that would be an insult to the fans and the viewer.

An American movie program shown on a channel called ME-TV from Chicago I think. Anyways it is mostly old scifi and horror films hosted by a character called Svengoullie who dresses like a crazy vampire.
