Spencer’s worlds come together to celebrate his birthday in Beverly Hills. But mixing the dysfunctional families – with the dash of an unexpected guest – ends in disaster. Olivia and Jordan, on a mission to uncover a family secret, discover a missing link to their father’s past. Meanwhile, Coop and Patience struggle to define their blossoming romance.

At a college recruiting event, Spencer’s former teammates from Crenshaw show up, which causes Spencer to lose focus. Olivia comes to Asher’s aid, while Jordan struggles with the opportunities that comes with being Billy Baker’s son.

After Spencer and Olivia’s efforts to try to get help for Layla blow up in their faces, Layla pretends that everything is fine by throwing a birthday party for Olivia and Jordan. With Spencer not in a good place after the news he receives about Corey, he is forced to have dinner with the biggest football booster, and it doesn’t go well. Coop is ready to start recording the music she wants but Preach pushes her to try something that isn’t her style. Meanwhile, Jordan finds himself in trouble and turns to his dad for help, leaving Billy to do what’s best for his family even though Laura doesn’t like it.

With Spencer in bad shape, Grace, Billy, Laura, Olivia and Layla rush to his side. Knowing there is a big decision he needs to make, the community from both Crenshaw and Beverly Hills rally around him to show support. In the meantime, Spencer asks Coop to do him a favor, but somehow things go from bad to worse. Elsewhere, Jordan and his teammates step up to help Billy out while he is tending to other matters.

Olivia tries to balance her desire for intimacy with the commitment she made with herself regarding her sobriety. Jordan is worried about his recruitment possibilities and turns to Billy for advice. Asher contemplates his next move and finds inspiration from someone unexpected. Meanwhile, Grace is fed up with Billy's behavior and decides to confront him.

With Spencer's determination to protect his teammates from unjust punishment, he puts his own future at risk. Olivia and Layla question their post-graduation plans only to find the answers where they least expect it. Asher is too proud to ask for help to pay for his dream college and takes his frustration out on the people trying to help him. Coop makes a heartbreaking decision when it comes to Amina. Olivia gets a new perspective for her NIL piece after not giving up and following her gut. Asher and the crew get a new perspective about their group dynamic from an outsider. Meanwhile, Coop jumps to conclusions while protecting someone at her new job.

When Spencer joins Olivia in her quest to get former players to talk about Coach Garrett, things start to become real for them. With Jordan’s encouragement, Layla agrees to attend a red carpet with Patience, but Patience is still learning the ins and outs of these exclusive events. Spencer notices that Grace is doing a lot of wedding things solo, so he comes up with a solution to make her feel special. Asher gets an opportunity to take the next step in his career by going on a recruiting trip. Meanwhile, Coop gets too involved in a case at work, leading Laura to step in.

Despite his grief, Jordan attempts to man up in his dad’s absence, but when Billy’s death is used to garner positive attention for the struggling GAU football program, Jordan is left wondering if his legacy is only to live in his father’s shadow. Back at the Baker house, no one knows how to confront Laura’s excessive den-mothering, and Patience gets ready for her extravagant video premiere event.

The GAU football team is undergoing some growing pains and Spencer is challenged to try and bring them all together. Asher and Jaymee are ready to share their news but not everyone is supportive. Coop is stumbling on new challenges in class, and Olivia is learning that Jayden Davis stirred up more than the football team, but it ultimately sends her in an exciting new direction.
