Well whatever I'm tired of trying to explain to people what is the difference between original work and edit made by Crunchyroll. Simply because people watch their animes on Crunchyroll, they think it's absolute source of all animes.

I don't know if you use Trakt for traking your watchlist or not. If yes, many animes which have a sequel in movie format, has special episodes corresponding to the movie. "Specials" episodes aren't always a discontinuity of the main story.

You're the one acting like the Crunchyroll version is some weird exclusive edit. Season two is 12 episodes edited into 3 movies, not 3 movies edited into 12 episodes. That is how the original work is described.

As of now this content exists twice on the site which is what you guys don't want (besides occasional exceptions...) (eg. Masters of Horror or IMAX TV episode showings).
A similar issue is still unresolved regarding https://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=blood+machines...
Randomly checking a multitude of stuff started to creep into the shows like OVAs/specials becoming seasons (or not) so taking a stance on these things would be appreciated... this show hasn't been touched for over a year and the season 2 was added with mod awareness :?.

does the "intent" matter if it's releasing like a movie? going by https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/550148-the-body/discuss/5c2f76899251415a986de345 not at all since even the listing category on the streaming platform takes precedence over any text written on there about them (movie theater = movie section).
