Magnum seems to be lost between reality and fantasy, past and present, when he is convinced that he has seen an old friend, Mac, very much alive, walking the streets of Honolulu.

After Magnum has just been put through the wringer at the Hall of Records, he is very reluctant but finally agrees to help one of the clerks, a woman named Ms. Jones, who is looking for her missing husband.

Magnum must help his ex-wife Michelle and her daughter to freedom before they are assassinated.

Magnum finds his spirit in a state of 'limbo' following a shoot-out which leaves him in a coma.
