I will point out that America's involvement in the 1960s in rescuing South Vietnam from invasion by North Vietnam was appropriate since NV leader Ho Cho Minh committed brutal mass-murder on the landlords of NV in the 1950s ( See my other postings). This show ( back to that) probably never covered this vital fact about Ho!
