Hi, Samara. I'm well aware of the "follow the first airing" rule, however I can't find any source that supports the claim, that the episode actually did air on 2023-02-14. It may have been announced originally, but the archive of listings on fernsehserien.de (that also includes repeats) strongly suggests that ARD stopped airing new episodes on 2023-02-07 with "Die Falle" and continued airing on 2024-03-12 with "Im Nebel". Saxonia Media confirms this, see Staffel 6:

The footnote on the ARD-Website for the episode Der Pakt reads:

Erstausstrahlung: 16.04.2024

In this case, Saxonia Media as well as ARD/Das Erste list the same original air dates, which is also reflected on fernsehserien.de. Only TMDB claims something different, without a source.

So how do you want to add it, it's not possible as an episode 81, so it must be in one season?

No, it's not season 1. Episode 81 counted in consecutive order is – under the current set up in TMDB – the 6th episode in season 8 (08x06) and I already fixed that. I just need someone to remove 07x20.

Production seasons (Saxonia Media) and aired seasons (ARD/Das Erste) don't match up exactly. So far we have:

* E001–E008, production season 1 (part 1), TMDB 01x01–01x08 (season 1)
* E009–E016, production season 1 (part 2), TMDB 02x01–02x08 (season 2)
* E017–E024, production season 2 (part 1), TMDB 03x01–03x08 (season 3)
* E018–E032, production season 2 (part 2), TMDB 04x01–04x08 (season 4)
* E033–E040, production season 3, TMDB 05x01–05x08 (season 5, part 1)
* E041–E044, production season 4 (part 1), TMDB 05x09–05x12 (season 5, part 2)
* E045–E056, production season 4 (part 2), TMDB 06x01–06x12 (season 6)
* E057–E068, production season 5, TMDB 07x01–07x12 (season 7)

Up to this point everything is fine, as I don't like retroactive changes, except in case of blatant errors. Now the messy part that needs a cleanup:

Current production season 8 will consist of 12 episodes (E101–E112), and probably end up as TMDB season 10 or 12. This will depend on how and when ARD chooses to air those episodes – late 2025 or 2026. Do your mod-tools allow to move episodes from one season to another?

I'm not eager to jump on those changes, because ARD airs episodes in 'Ausstrahlungsblöcken', and not in production seasons. Also they usually fail to mention, when they stop airing original episodes, and start reruns, so you constantly have to re-check their data yourself. Their notation – like – "S05/E68" means "episode 68 in consecutive order, part of production season 5"; for TMDB you have to do the absolute episode count yourself, unlike TVDB that used to calculate the absolute order...
